Just for fun...

My name David S. Swierczek and I'm a Chicago-based, published photographer, with my work featured in online media as well as printed publications.

I have been exposed to photography from an early age by my father. Back in my home country of Poland, he would show me his camera collection consisting of Soviet-made 35mm and medium format cameras, explaining how to use and how to take care of them. I was mesmerized by the possibilities of photography when reviewing my dad's photo album collections - the possibilities seemed endless.

Years later, I started taking photography seriously myself and I started shooting various events. The highlight was shooting for a local print publication in Chicago, IL, for which I covered many sporting events and concerts.
